| This edition of "Master de la Comunidad Valenciana" takes place in Ozone
Bowling Torrevieja, the first official tournament arranged by Euro Bowling Torrevieja. If 2007 was a great success for the bowlers of 'Saltlake City', this time it's even greater as EBT's bowlers -up to 23!- take a whopping nine trophies out of a total of sixteen.

Bowling Torrevieja competes against regional teams from all over Spain at Planet Bowling Tres Aguas (Alcorcón, Madrid). One female team and two male teams will win promotion
to the National League of 2007-08.EBT's ladies -Lynne Ailsby (ENG), Lesley Gamblen (ENG), Inga-Lill Söderström (FIN), and Eija Vanhalakka (FIN)- beat their opposition and clinch a place in the ladies' First Division, training their sights on the "Premiership" (División de Honor) the following year. the male team -Juanjo Carral (ESP), Bob Day (ENG), Jarmo Peltonen (FIN), Bosse Söderström (SWE) and Hannu Vanhalakka (FIN)- also bowl well, but only manage to finish fourth, just a few pins from straight promotion. EBT's
ladies travel to Barcelona while the men go all the way to Oviedo (Asturias). The ladies are in third place, they have practically secured their place in the First
Division for the next season, but could even finish first and win promotion to the Premiership ("División de Honor") -if all
went extremely well. the story is
very different for the men: they are fighting against relegation.
At the end of the day, our ladies finish in second place, EBT's Lynne Ailsby (ENG) being the best individual with an excellent average, 191.40, including the high game and high series of the day, 244 and 461, respectively. EBT's men fight all the way and manage to stay in the Second Division, sending their last opponents, Les Gavarres of Catalonia, to relegation. |

Valencia's
ladies and men travel to Madrid to meet the rest of Spain's regional teams at this annual event.Three EBT bowlers have been selected for Valencia: Lesley Gamblen (ENG), Lynne Ailsby (ENG) and Bob Day (ENG). the Valencian ladies win their championship, while the Valencian men finish as runners-up.

| Adding to the considerable national success of our great international family, EBT is getting to be known even beyond Spain's borders. Many of our seniors travel every year to European Championships - congratulations for your bronze medals, Pirjo and Mirja!.
